What the developer actually shipped
The phrase BOSSES UPDATE appears verbatim in the official Roblox description: “Fight powerful bosses with custom attacks and use their relics to craft new OP objects!” That is the only official sentence the developer has written about the feature.
Everything else — boss HP, per-boss attacks, relic recipes, drop rates — comes from community walkthroughs (rouniverse, allthings.how, roonby, nerdschalk). The wiki respects that distinction: stated-vs-inferred labels appear in every quote.
How the boss loop works in practice
A boss spawns at the Wave 20 milestone and again every 20–30 waves thereafter (community observations). Each boss uses an attack pattern distinct from the regular zombie waves, which is what “custom attacks” in the developer sentence refers to in practice.
The cleanest mental model comes from the four-step community consensus:
- Survive Wave 20. Use the same Skill Tree priority as the regular game — Luck I → Auto Roll → Luck II → Fortune Relic when you can craft it.
- Collect the relic drops. Bosses drop relic shards that the regular RNG roll never produces. Save them; do not sell any.
- Spend shards at the Crafting Machine. The machine unlocks at 150,000 coins. Recipes shape relics into higher-tier versions — duplicates consolidate into upgrades.
- Take the new “OP objects” into the next boss run. These crafted objects outscale everything the dice can roll, which is the intended endgame reason to push past Wave 20.
The early-game vulnerability is that 150K is a long path to walk before any of this becomes useful. The Coin ETA tool models that path with player-entered Luck loadouts and Coin Boost windows, and the Luck calculator tells you whether the relic grind is worth it at your current roll odds.

Reading the admin calendar alongside the boss loop
The developer runs an Admin Abuse festival roughly every other Saturday. It is a separate event from the BOSSES UPDATE but frequently coincides with the cadence:
- 2026-07-18 — first Admin Abuse session (45 min runtime, 5,000+ players RSVP’d)
- 2026-08-01 — second session (30 min runtime)
During these windows Slungpy Games joins public servers and exercises admin powers — admin drops, surprise spawns, custom effects. See the Admin Abuse events article for the calendar and the privacy-relevant disclosure (these are Roblox-tagged festivals).
Should you skip the standard game and go straight to bosses?
No. The Bosses Update is a linear extension of the standard Skill Tree — you need coin income, base layout quality, and Index luck bonuses before Wave 20 is survivable. The two most common losses before Wave 20 are reported in the same community discussions as the bosses themselves:
- Spreading coins on rare items that can’t yet be upgraded.
- Logging off with a sloppy layout — the offline branch does most of your income compounding.
Tackle the standard loop until you have the 150K Crafting Machine reserve plus ~10% headroom. Then start boss attempts in tandem with crafted relics.
What the developer has not shipped yet
- No boss-by-boss DPS table is published anywhere reliable.
- No official relic upgrade curve (how many duplicate shards per level).
- No workshop-vs-crafting distinction in the developer’s copy — the [CONFLICT] in the data-collection reflects two different sources mentioning a “Workshop” at Wave 10 vs a “Crafting Machine” at Wave 20; treat them as separate gates pending a second source.
If you want a placeholder while the developer publishes more, the Bosses and relics article keeps the published picture tidy.
Frequently asked questions
When does the first boss spawn in Build a base RNG?
At Wave 20, per allthings.how, rouniverse, nerdschalk, and roonby independently. The phrase 'BOSSES UPDATE' is the developer's standing label for the encounter set.
What do bosses drop?
Relic shards and crafting materials distinct from the standard roll pool. Named relics currently published in community coverage are Fortune, Vitality, and Sharpness — though only the official 'relics / OP objects' phrase is verified.
Is there a boss DPS table?
No — published numeric bosses data is undocumented. Treat per-boss HP, attack cadence, and relic drop tables as [INSUFFICIENT DATA].
Does the BOSSES UPDATE replace the standard waves?
No. Bosses add to the wave ladder; the regular 1–∞ wave loop is intact.
Do I have to grind bosses?
You can stay on the standard coin / Index loop for as long as you want. Boss-tier relics are the dedicated endgame, not a forced step.
Does the Admin Abuse event modify the BOSSES UPDATE?
Admin Abuse is a separate live-ops festival. It can coincide with a patch but is documented as a biweekly Saturday ritual, not part of the update itself.
